We process account identifiers such as email address; authentication and security records; tracker applications, rounds, reminders, and exports; practice submissions and drafts; support messages; and content you choose to submit or publish.
We also process limited device, request, diagnostic, fraud-prevention, and rate-limit information needed to operate and protect the service.
Information is used to authenticate you, provide requested features, synchronize your private workspace, deliver sign-in links and opted-in reminders, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations.
Aggregate or de-identified information may be used to understand product reliability and improve learning experiences without identifying you.
CareerPetal uses service providers only as needed to operate the product, including AWS for application and database hosting, Cloudflare for web and edge delivery, Zoho for email, and Paddle for billing when enabled.
Apple, Google, GitHub, or other providers receive information only when you use their platform or an explicitly connected feature. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Data is retained while your account is active and as needed for the feature you requested. Security, billing, dispute, and legal records may be retained for a limited period after account closure.
Delete tracker data in Settings & privacy. Request full account deletion from the same screen or follow the public account deletion guidance.
CareerPetal uses encrypted transport, restricted production credentials, scoped sessions, access controls, and operational monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security, so report suspected incidents promptly.
You may export tracker data, revoke sessions, disable optional reminders, delete tracker records, and request access, correction, or deletion.
CareerPetal is designed for people managing professional engineering careers and is not directed to children under 16. We may update this policy when products, providers, or legal requirements change.
Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice.
